My room is a place to speak freely
You can bring what is painful, complicated, embarrassing or unfinished. My role is to listen with care and help you feel less alone with it.
I’m Avital Cohen, MSW. I offer therapy in English and Hebrew for couples and relationships, teens, and people looking for personal support, clarity and change.
My goal is to give you a steady, respectful space where you can speak honestly, feel understood, and begin to see what is happening with more compassion and perspective.
When you come to therapy, you may already know exactly what hurts, or you may only know that something feels stuck, confusing or too heavy to keep carrying by yourself. In my work, I try to meet you where you are.
I believe therapy should feel human, honest and grounded. I will not rush you into answers. Instead, we will make space to understand what is happening, what you need, and what might help you move forward.
You can bring what is painful, complicated, embarrassing or unfinished. My role is to listen with care and help you feel less alone with it.
I do not believe therapy should feel forced. We will work at a pace that feels safe enough for you, while still allowing real movement and growth.
Together, we can look at patterns, relationships, feelings and choices in a way that helps you understand yourself more clearly and respond differently.
I work with clients in English and Hebrew. You can meet me in Ra’anana when available, from Central Israel, or by video conference if you live abroad.
If your relationship feels distant, tense or repetitive, I can help you slow the conversation down and understand what is really happening between you.
Teen years can be intense, even when things look “fine” from the outside. I offer a calm place for teens to speak, feel seen and build stronger inner support.
You may be looking for support because something changed, something keeps repeating, or you want to understand yourself in a deeper way.
I know that sending the first message can feel like a big step. You do not need to write everything perfectly. A short message is enough.
You can contact me on WhatsApp and briefly tell me what you are looking for: couples therapy, teen therapy or personal therapy.
We can discuss availability, language preference, whether you prefer Ra’anana or online sessions, and whether my work feels like the right fit.
If we decide to begin, we will use the first sessions to understand what brings you here and what kind of support would be most helpful.
From time to time, I may share short reflections, updates or practical articles for people who are considering therapy or want to understand themselves and their relationships better.
Tell me briefly what you are looking for, and I will let you know about availability and next steps. You can write in English or Hebrew.
